Inside the platform

One product. Three systems. Every part included.

BUCKFFL is one platform, organized around three systems: the shop, the customer-facing and sales system, and the catalog engine. Every 'Buck' name below lives inside these three and is included in the base plan. Only the two premium modules (auction and pawn) are priced on top.

BuckCRM
The customer-facing & sales system
The public storefront and website, the shop's auction pages, customer accounts, checkout and transfers. Inward: CRM pipeline, contacts, follow-ups, meetings, support tickets and the full marketing suite.
BuckFEED
The catalog & channel engine
The plumbing nobody sees. Pulls distributor product feeds in, normalizes and enriches them, pushes products back out to storefronts and marketplaces. Also holds each shop's connections for e-signature, messaging and hosting.
Named parts of the platform

What the sub-brands mean.

Each is a capability inside the platform with a name customers may hear. None is bought separately.

BuckCALL
Telephony
The shop's phone system inside the software. Dialer, softphone, recording, voicemail. Calls attach to the customer record they belong to.
BuckTEXT
Messaging
Two-way SMS to customers. 10DLC carrier registration handled for the shop rather than left to them.
BuckPAY
Card processing
Card-present at the counter and card-not-present online, card-on-file and recurring. A card number never touches the platform.
BuckSIGN
E-signature
Legally binding signatures on work orders, layaway, consignments and pawn tickets. Set up for your shop during onboarding.
BuckChat
Chat
Real-time staff-to-staff chat and a direct line to BUCKFFL support. Included at no charge.
BuckAI
Assistant
In-product assistant that answers questions about the shop's data, drafts documents and powers guided walkthroughs.
FFL Cockpit
Distributor lookup
Search 19 distributor catalogues from inside the shop system and order without leaving it.
Premium modules

Built on the same inventory.

Two modules that run on the shop's actual inventory alongside retail — priced on top of the base plan.

07
Deep dive

How Cerakote work orders actually work.

Coating isn't a line item with a fixed price. It's a configuration — and the system prices it the way a shop actually quotes it.

Step 1
Firearm type
Pistol, rifle, shotgun. Sets the base shop-supplies charge — the abrasives, solvent and consumables the job burns regardless of color.
Step 2
Finish style
The treatment itself. Each style carries its own upcharge over the base.
Step 3
Colors
One or several, from your own catalogue. Multi-color work costs more because it's masked and cured in passes.
Step 4
Parts
Which components are being coated — frame, slide, barrel, furniture — priced per part for that firearm type.
Step 5
Modifiers
The extras that change the labour: disassembly, rush turnaround, heavy prep, pattern work.
Step 6
Quote
Totalled and attached to the work order, ready for the customer to approve.
Why it's built this way. A shop quoting Cerakote from a flat price list either loses money on the complicated jobs or overcharges the simple ones. Pricing it as base plus style plus colors plus parts plus modifiers means the quote reflects the work every time — and it's the same answer whoever's standing at the counter.
The rest of the coating workflow

Built the way a coating shop actually runs.

Your own color catalogue, seeded on day one and fully editable — not a fixed list.
Pattern management for camo and multi-color schemes, built into the quote.
A customer-facing configurator. The customer picks colors on a model of their firearm, sees it, and submits a quote request that lands as a real job — so the conversation starts with a spec instead of "what does Cerakote cost?"
Laser engraving and stippling are sibling modules on the same work order spine — including zone-based placement and NFA marking compliance.
08
Better together

BuckSWITCH + BuckCALL + BuckCRM.

Three pieces that are ordinary alone and genuinely unusual combined. When the phone, the switchboard and the customer record share one system — the call, the job and the invoice become one history.

BuckSWITCH
The switchboard
Decides where a call goes. Extensions, ring groups, menus, business hours, after-hours voicemail.
BuckCALL
The phone itself
Rings on the computer and the cell at once. Records, transcribes and stores the call.
BuckCRM
The memory
Knows who's calling, what they bought, what they owe and what was said last time.
What that adds up to

The call becomes the record.

The phone knows who's calling before anyone answers. The number is matched to the customer and their record opens on screen — their work orders, their layaway, their last conversation. No "can I take your name?"
One customer, many numbers. A shop owner calling from the store, the cell or home is still recognised as the same person.
The call becomes a record. Recording and transcript attach to the customer and, where relevant, to a ticket — so the answer to "what did we agree?" is on the account, not in somebody's memory.
Rings the desk and the pocket together. Staff take shop calls on a computer in the store and on a phone in the parking lot — same extension.
The switchboard knows the hours. Calls route differently during business hours, after hours and at weekends, automatically — instead of someone remembering to forward the phone.
Voicemail lands where work happens. A message becomes a task attached to a customer, not a light blinking on a handset nobody's standing next to.
How it's built. Most shops pay one company for the phones and another for the software, and the two never speak. Here the phone is part of the customer record. BuckCALL and BuckCRM ship with every account today; BuckSWITCH is running on our own shop's phones now and rolls out to yours during onboarding.

What makes us different

Fully custom. Fully ours.

BUCKFFL isn't stitched together from off-the-shelf modules. Every feature is written in-house, for firearms retail, with room to make it match how your shop runs.

← start here
01
Custom-built system
Not a Frankenstein of plugins. Every feature written in-house for FFLs, with the flexibility to shape it to your shop.
02
Text messaging, two ways
Already on OtterText? We integrate. Not on it? Use our in-house SMS — one of the industry's most affordable options, built right into BUCKFFL.
03
Phone system, your way
A fully customizable business phone system built into the platform. Ring groups, hours, greetings, routing — the way your shop actually answers.
04
Direct line to developers
Something missing? Ask. Something wrong? Tell us. Not a Zendesk queue — a real conversation with the team building it.
— what other
vendors won't tell you
"I ran an FFL. I tried every system on the market. Every one had the same holes. So I built the system I actually needed — the features gun shops really use, not what a software company thinks we use."
